Need Help Upgrading a Drive

Hi There,
I recently decided to upgrade the PACE Sky+ HD box that we got in 2010 to give it more space - nothing crazy, just up to 1Tb (which I think will at least double or maybe triple my recording space).
Unfortunately I didn't realise about this "Darwin" issue when I ordered the new disc. Is it true that Copy+ is basically going to be useless for me?
I've heard (and seen posted on here) about another program called ExPVR. I would willingly purchase it, but there's a snag: the current download is v3.8 but that doesn't work on Windows XP - only up to version 3.6 does. Now before I get some diatribe about changing OS to Windows 7 or Windows 8 - it's not an option. It's not - just leave it.
Assuming that Copy+ is indeed useless can you suggest any other software?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Yes, I am sorry. Copy+ is for legacy SD boxes only, and no use for Darwin.
The only suggestion I have is you either seek out someone who can lend you a W7 PC, or ask the ExPVR author if he has a back level version. But there may be technical reasons why that's not an option if the software has moved on.
Sorry to disappoint, Stuart.
