Invisible Drive?

I've had a HDD problem for some time so decided to change it. I've removed the old one and connected it to my laptop in a USB caddy.
I've installed Copy+, +Extract and the XTVFSInstaller drivers.
Windows recognises the drive as a FAT32 and +Extract will recognise its presence, Windows Disc Management also sees it as a 'Basic' drive.
Copy+, however, fails to see it at all, despite being run in administrator mode.

How do I get the program to recognise the drive so I can get my recordings off and replace them on the new drive?

What model sky box do you have? Copy+ will only work with Sky+ and Thompson Sky+ HD devices. All other HD boxes have the darwin update and are not supported.

Is it not possible to do a straight bit image copy of the Darwin fat32 disc using disc copy software?

I have a 500GB one from an Amstrad HD box I want to copy to a 2TB
