I would also like to know of any alternatives to the "Seagate ST31000533cs" as I cant get one from anywhere...... before I read this thread I installed a Samsung SpinPoint F1 on Friday and it has gone into standby twice over the weekend......

Cheers

Hello All,

I went for this disk (in my samsung hdsky box - manufactured oct 2008) - Hitachi Cinemastart 7k1000c 1TB (HCS721010CLA332) in the end and successfully installed and used Copy+ last night.

It works!

Thanks for all the information.
