Pace 9F3003

Which replacement drives can you use and which do people recommend?

Hi,

I'd like to replace the HD in my ageing Pace 9F3003 STB.

I've spent some time searching but can't work out if a replacement disk will work as my box now has the latest EPG.

I don't mind losing my existing recordings if I really have to, but would prefer to keep them if possible.

Thanks,

L

You'll need to use ExPVR with the new EPG. Google it.
Copy+ is no longer compatible with HD boxes with the new Darwin platform EPG software.

Thanks.

Are there recommendations on the size and brand of replacement HD for these Pace boxes?

It seems, from my research that drives >1GB don't work, or has this been addressed?

You'd be much better asking on the ExPVR forums about this.
What size drive is and isn't possible is going to depend on both the box firmware and the capabilities of ExPVR.
